BetMakers Technology Group Ltd. (“BetMakers” or “The Company”) is thrilled to celebrate the launch of fixed odds betting on horse racing in the US, legal for the first time in decades in the State of New Jersey.
Beginning Saturday May 7, racing and betting fans in New Jersey will be able to place both fixed odds and pari-mutuel on races at Monmouth Park.
Fixed odds betting on racing is a fan-friendly enhancement to the betting menu with something for every type of bettor: more options for experienced racing fans, simplified win, place and show bets for newcomers, and engaging betting content with a 24/7 schedule and thrilling action every few minutes to interest sports bettors.
The coming weeks will see the introduction of a new website and a mobile app for fixed odds betting on racing. Designed to appeal to the sports bettor as well as the horse racing bettor, the new website and mobile app from Monmouth Park, powered by BetMakers, will offer fixed odds betting and form data from Equibase.
BetMakers is also working with sportsbook operators to launch fixed odds wagering in their popular betting apps, bringing a new customer experience to the current betting apps by increasing the number of products to wager on and engage with on a frequent basis. This expansion will bring a new customer base to the horse race wagering industry and increase returns to all industry stakeholders.
Next week BetMakers will open up betting on eligible out-of-state tracks that are under a fixed odds content distribution agreement with BetMakers’ Global Racing Network division.
In addition to the launch of fixed odds betting on racing, BetMakers’ Global Tote division is excited to introduce key investments in betting and user experience that will fundamentally change the way fans of US racing enjoy the sport of kings.
Guests of Monmouth Park will enjoy an all new self-service terminal from Global Tote’s new BetLine series that is fast, efficient, and reliable. The terminal’s extra-large touchscreen displays a new user interface that helps consumers place tote bets quickly and easily.
Global Tote is also dramatically changing the on-track race watching experience at Monmouth Park with the installation of a new infield display solution. The new “big board” will present odds, results and messages in a dazzling, colorful display.
